Click aquí para descargar la convocatoria. El Consejo Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural del Ministerio de Cultura de la República de Cuba convoca al Primer Congreso Internacional de Patrimonio Cultural.

Conscientes de la necesidad de fortalecer los procesos encaminados a la protección y salvaguardia de la diversidad de expresiones que integran el Patrimonio Cultural, ante los retos que imponen los modelos de desarrollo predominantes y las consecuencias del cambio climático, así como las potencialidades aún insatisfechas de una mejor apreciación y disfrute de estos bienes y manifestaciones inmateriales por las comunidades y visitantes, el encuentro se propone la construcción de espacios de reflexión colectiva para encarar los desafíos que representa la gestión del Patrimonio Cultural, particularmente en el ámbito latinoamericano y caribeño.

Se convoca a investigadores, estudiantes, promotores y gestores culturales, miembros de instituciones públicas y comunidades en general a un intercambio tanto teórico como práctico sobre los temas relativos a la protección y salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural, para ello, combina los espacios de presentación y discusión con recorridos y talleres.

En el marco del Congreso tendrá lugar el 19 Coloquio Internacional Ernest Hemingway.

• 19 Coloquio Internacional Ernest Hemingway

El Museo Ernest Hemingway de Finca Vigía, en coordinación con el Consejo Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural, convoca al 19 Coloquio Internacional Ernest Hemingway, que tendrá lugar del 3 al 5 de mayo del 2023, en el contexto del Congreso Internacional de Patrimonio Cultural que organiza el Consejo Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural. Los objetivos de esta edición serán: promover el intercambio de información con especialistas e instituciones afines a nuestro Museo; confrontar trabajos recientes acerca de la vida y obra del escritor; conmemorar el 70 Aniversario de la entrega del Premio Pulitzer (1953); y el 70 Aniversario de la publicación en Cuba, en la Revista Bohemia, de la obra “El Viejo y el Mar”.

• Ernest Hemingway: un ciudadano del mundo.
• Ernest Hemingway como tema de estudio en las universidades de todo el mundo.
• Trabajos relacionados con su vida y obra.
• Colecciones, Fundaciones, Asociaciones, Proyectos y Museos Ernest Hemingway en el mundo.

Los participantes podrán viajar con visa de turista. Aquellos que requieran Visa Académica o Evento, deben presentar la solicitud con 60 días de antelación adjuntando copia de su pasaporte, la visa será volante entregada en aeropuerto de La Habana a su arribo y tendrá un valor de 150.00 USD

El pago es por anticipado antes del 15 de abril 2023; confirmados los servicios se le enviará indicaciones y LINK de pago seguro ON LINE que deberá completar con su tarjeta de crédito (VISA, MASTERCARD).

• Política de penalidades por cancelaciones o no presentación:

25% del total pagado por cancelaciones confirmadas recibidas antes del 15 de abril de 2023.

50% por cancelaciones confirmadas recibidas después del 15 de abril de 2023.

No se hará devolución si no media una cancelación y reclamación del cliente antes del inicio del evento o por NO PRESENTACIÓN.

 Click here to download de announcement. The National Council for Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cuba calls for the First International Congress on Cultural Heritage.

Aware of the need to strengthen processes aimed at the protection and safeguarding of the diversity of expressions of Cultural Heritage in view of the challenges imposed by prevailing development models and by the consequences of climate change, as well as the still unsatisfied potentialities of a better appreciation and enjoyment of these properties  and intangible manifestations by communities and visitors, the Congress aims at creating spaces for collective reflection to face the challenges of managing the Cultural Heritage, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean.

We call researchers, students, cultural promoters and managers, leaders and staff in public institutions and the communities in general to discuss topics related to the protection and safeguarding of Cultural Heritage. To this aim, the Congress will offer not only the spaces for presentations and discussions, but also workshops and specialized tours.

As a special feature, the 19^th International Colloquium Ernest Hemingway will be held as part of the Congress.

• 19^th International Colloquium Ernest Hemingway

The Ernest Hemingway Museum at Finca Vigía, jointly with the National Council for Cultural Heritage, calls for the 19^th International Colloquium Ernest Hemingway, to be held on May 3 to 5, 2023, within the context of the International Congress on Cultural Heritage organized by the National Council for Cultural Heritage. The central theme of this Colloquium is to promote the exchange of information between scholars and institutions related to the Museum, discuss recent works about the life and work of the writer, celebrate the 70^th anniversary of the Pulitzer Prize he won in 1953; the 70^th anniversary of the publication in Cuba, by Bohemia magazine of the Old Man and the Sea.

Penalties policy for cancellations or no shows:

25% of the total paid for confirmed cancellations received before April 15^th, 2023.
